Lawyer Charles Tuttle is defending his future wife's relative, Benny Gibbs, in a class action fraud suit. When he arrives in the town, his friend Richard Rietti surprises him with a bachelor party. At the party, Charles gets extremely drunk and becomes ill. When the hearings are to begin the following day, his friend Richard Rietti (who is also an actor) takes Charlie's place... posing as a lawyer. The biggest problem is Richard knows nothing about the law or being a lawyer and Charlie must try to teach him everything he knows as the most important case of his life goes on without him. |
